I have been hearing about a Japanese movie about people being given the option to choose their favorite moment of their life and that will be their heaven when they die.  I would love to see this, but don't even have a clue what it is called.  Any help?  Thanks in advance!

Got it! It's called ワンダフルライフ (Wonderful Life), though it was released overseas as After Life. It was directed by the always excellent Koreeda Hirokazu. Here's the page about it on his official website:
